The ACCORD Trial

ACCORD Study Group

The ACCORD (Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes) Trial and its substudies aim to discover if tight control of glycemia, blood pressure, and lipids can reduce the risks for cardiovascular disease, cognitive decline, and retinopathy in people with Type 2 diabetes. The authors describe how you can help some of your patients enroll and receive free treatment and state-of-the-art diabetes care.
